The hard coating in Crizal Lenses(Titus)--Unique Coating Process

COATING IS DONE USING A PROPRIETARY NANOCOMPOSITE VARNISH.

This varnish contains 50 % Silica (Glass-like particles) and if an object hits the lens surface the flexible coating bends and functions as a shock absorber
