i - Technology

Step 1 : Molecule Adhesion

With i-technology TM

•  Lens surface becomes more receptive
•  Allow more molecules to stick more tightly to
   the lens surface

Step 2 : Molecule Densification

With i-technology TM

The intense increase in energy causes all molecules, including the new conductive molecules responsible for the dust-repellant efficiency, to create a compact and more uniform matrix for optimal efficiency.

Regular Anti-Reflective Lenses

Without i-technologyTM

Without i -technologyTM, regular anti-reflective lenses actually attract dust, in particular during the cleaning process.

1. When a lens is covered with dust, it needs to be cleaned. 2. Wiping generates negative electrostatic charges on the surface of the lens. 3. After wiping, the positive dust particles are attracted by the negative electrostatic charges. 4. Consequently, the lens is never really free of dust or clean.

Without i-technologyTM

Crizal® A2TM lenses are virtually free of dust and easier to clean.

1. Covered with dust, the lens needs to be cleaned. . 2. By adding a conductive layer, wiping does not generate any negative electrostatic charges. 3. After wiping, dust particles are NOT attracted back. 4. The lens is virtually free of dust and clean.
