The Smudge-Repellent Effect

The High Surface Density Process - HSD ProcessTM - of new Crizal A2 allows to increase the density of hydrophobic and oleophobic molecules on the lens surface. Therefore, the surface of the lens is correctly covered. Smudges and water droplets are much more repelled from the surface of the lens and smudge resistance is improved. Crizal A2 has the best hydrophobic performance.

Crizal® A2TM Top Coat molecules effectively cover the surface of the lens. It increases the contact angle. Thus smudges and water droplets are more easily repelled from the surface of the lens and smudge-resistance is improved.
